Have fun with your fears. See them as an exciting challenge. The more you choose to put a positive spin on them, the easier they will be to overcome. If you are afraid of speaking in front of people, look at that fear as an opportunity to challenge yourself on it. Fears are just beliefs that we have attached ourselves to into believing that they are real. Challenging them head on and making it fun changes the energy towards that fear. Think about the accomplishment of overcoming a fear. Think about how good it feels to overcome something. Use that feeling as leverage and a starting point. Fear is in all of what you make of it. It’s just an idea that you have come to believe as true. It is as easily removed as it came to be. When you root yourself in a belief system that no longer serves you, you become stuck. Make your fear big, think about what is the worst thing that could happen. Then make it small, see it as a tiny obstacle. Have fun with your fears, play around with them. Make them come alive and realize that they have little power over you.
